in order of preference:
1 - Sunday the 14th
2 - Wednesday the 17th
3 - Thursday the 18th

Either Wednesday date, or the Sunday date. Just as something to consider, perhaps most people would not want to do a hardcore liquor Sunday event. (I'm the exception) The Thursday events are not so bad, but you know how it is with constant holiday parties; having it on a Wednesday or Sunday would allow it to be more inclusive of people who aren't already overloaded on Thu-Fri-Sat through the season.

Date is less important, go with the a weekday. More importantly 830 starts are a bit better for the late workers, which sadly I am, as opposed to those 7pm start times.

and now I'm seeing that the 17th doesn't work for everyone. My work christmas party is on the 18th, but maybe I can come if it goes a bit later. whatever works best for everyone.
